    Cardassian Sourcebook Released

We're pleased to announce the release of v1 of the Cardassian Sourcebook.

You can dowload the document from here.

    An alternative for downloading:

    Try the Netherlands Mirror

The document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.05 or higher.

The file is 9megs in size.

I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make the document what it is. It is because of them that you have this net book for free. Special thanks to Lace for providing us with hosting space.

I had to take the archive off line for a bit to fix a problem in Book 2. It will return in about an hour.

    Sorry about that.

I've only had a chance to skim, but the books look good. Congrats to the Cardassian team from the Trill team.

At first I wasn't sure if drawings done in anime-style fit into it, but they're growing on me. Only one nitpick: Marritza came to DS9 and was killed in late 2369, not late 2370.

Briefly skimmed both books. Loved what you guys did with the history, & liked the variety of packages too.

Good work! Any chance of you guys doing the Bajoran side of things?

    Impressive. Most impressive.

Now I have something to read over the holidays.

Oh, and by the way Centurion Tre'val wanted me to pass along thanks as well for all the wonderful intelligence you have provided the Star Command.

    Wow!!!

Well, I have downloaded the book and haven skimmed though it.

I have one thing to say:

    FRICKING AMAZING!

With the Dominion War Sourcebook, SRM1, and Spacedock, "The Cardassians" joins the list of high quality soucebooks for LUGTrek.

To all those who contributed, much thanks and appreciation.

The bar has been set for all those netbooks to follow.

Once again, I'm looking for a hard-copy supplier.

The computers I have access to (at the public library) all have firewall-type software that prevents my downloading and unzipping the material. They also have obsolete Adobe readers, anyway.

I missed the DWS entirely, so I need that, too.

If anybody's willing to help out a poor technologically-impaired guy, let me know.

Its a great piece of work..especially to someone who knew next to nothing about Cardassians.

    First of two

Well my suggestion, first off is get a computer, rather one second hand. Even a k6 500 is relatively inexpensive, check want adds in the paper, etc, or reliable store selling computer equipment, if you ask they should be able to get older computers.
( don't go to places like the future shop, they won't help you, and charge too much ).

If this is not possible try a friends computer, is the next best bet.

Or a cyber cafe' , I'm sure there is one around. However uploading and downloading depends on the willingness of the owners........

    Hope that helped.
