    Allow me to introduce myself.

    Hi Everyone,

    just thought I would introduce myself.

    I am teacher from Poughkeepsie NY and an avid fan.

    I have been visiting for sometime now, just wanted to get in on the fun!!

    If anyone knows of other gamers in my area, let me know please!!! I was also wondering if other gamers have the same problem of being unable to find tabletop games?

    It' rough going, I'm down on long island and i don't find many people either. I'm glad i have a group thats been around for years (In one form or another since the mid 80's ) and plays a large selction of RPG's with many GM's

    Hello and welcome. I'm going to move this to the General Area which is probably a bit more appropriate.

    For finding players in Poughkeepsie, I'd start a new thread on the Gaming Hub - I see you replied to one already - it couldn't hurt to see if anyone else has a group or is interested in starting one.

    AS you know I am new here myself.

    Too bad Schenectady is an 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. We still maybe able to get together though. As I am still also trying to find gamers in the capital district.

    There was a game store in one of the strip malls on Rt 9 in fishkill you may want to try advertising there, if the store is still present.
