How about the Andromeda Class Explorer from SRM 1?

As I have the USS Andromeda showing up in an ep that might be odd. No I have decided to pay and have a custom model built in 3D if I can find any takers.Originally Posted by Captain Leana Craig

That would be my suggestions.

When I had a campaign set on an Intrepid-class, I named it the USS Blackthorne, after the main character in "Shogun", who was kind of an explorer. Another named I've played with is the USS Morgan, after the title character of DC's "Warlord" series (an unintenional explorer).

Aslan, I have a fan design - the USS Ascendant - in ESO which offers the same advantages as an Intrepid class, with an Andromeda-like AI... Or feel free to scrap it and buff the systems a bit if you don't like the AI
Just my two cents.

Thanks guys.
As I have said I am having a custom jobby built and she will remain the Dauntless, which some how survived in a salvagable state after ramming a Borg cube.
The only theory the Starfleet Corps of Engineers could come up with is that the Borg tried to tractor her away, forcing her to rotate away as the explosion occured, thereby making the explosion of her port antimatter pods a propellant that, combined with the tractor beams, shoved the remaining hull to a clear distance. Of course this is a 1 in 1 Trillion (or even higher) chance of happening. But that is what the SCE decided and that is the official story.
Of course it has a far more cosmic explanation, which might have something to do with the "ghost" of Captain Ramirez' brother being on the ship at the same time.
So thanks for the suggestions... there are some good ideas here I am going to steal for NPC ships and such
Nice idea there. Keep us posted as to what the real explanation is!!!

Shoot, I saw this thread too late, or I would have egotistically suggested you use one of my designs.
The Janus or the Mudabi, might be something you could consider using.
Of course, there's not much in the way of detailing on those ships, so they might be hard to model -- and there's nothing in the way of statistics... so you can be free to make up your own!

Not too late. The ship is not built yet! All ideas are useful!

Thanks for the offer. I will look closely at those ships and see what's what.
In the end I would probably use them as NPC vessels as I have definate ideas in mind for the Dauntless.
If it is not too late for input. . .then how about the Rigel-class? I never got around to doing the stats for SD, but here are the ICON ones.
